Cannot Login as Admin

Greetings, I am trying to take over as the administrator for the Club 144 website because I am the new VPPR. No one in our club knows the password, so I tried "Did you forget your password?". The previous VPPR forwarded me the email:

Once in, click on "launch admin console", click on the "Administrator Info" tab, enter/change your password there, then click "Save".

When I clicked, our website was opened with nothing different, and nothing that said "launch admin console". I tried this from Safari, Chrome, with popups and cookies allowed. I just want to update our website. Please help.

Once either the past admin or the club contact from find-a-club approves you should receive the next steps.
