Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Email Verification Sent to Guest

Club 6379 here in the US.
I just entered the name and email address of a guest in the admin console using the "Quick Add" function. I had selected "Guest" in the drop down. When I did, I got a pop up message saying that due to EU regulations this person would be sent an email to verify their email. And sure enough, their data was lined through on the Guest tab.
I'm not sure we want guests receiving opt-in emails, at least not in the US. I was just storing her information for future use. IS there a work around here or did I do it the wrong way. It's been awhile since I entered a guest.

Well, the following is the actual text that is displayed... there is nothing about EU regulations.  It just says prevailing privacy regulations and best practices.
You are adding new contact information for new people to one or more of your Membership Management lists.  Due to prevailing privacy regulations and "best practices", when people are added to one of the Membership Management lists, they will also automatically be sent an "opt-in" email in which they must click a link within 30 days to be activated in the system. Until they are activated, their information is displayed here with a "strike-out" (e.g., John Smith), they are filtered out of member selection lists, and are unreachable via FreeToastHost email.  If they fail to opt in within the 30 day period, their information will be deleted.  If they misplace the email, you can use the new Re-Send Opt-in Email(s) tool from the Membership Tools menu to re-send it.  If you need to, new people can also be deleted.  If you have any questions about this, contact us in the FreeToastHost Support Forums.
We put a lot of time and effort into implementing this in consultation with Toastmasters Intl and other experts...  Sorry, but we will not be changing it.

I wasn't asking to change it. I was asking if there was a workaround. Never mind. We'll just keep a spreadsheet. Thanks.
