Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Has anyone else received a message stating that there is a character limit of 665533? Never had this before and have had to remove a lot of past club information. Please help!

There always has been a character limit due to the database configuration.

However, no one was getting warned about it previously, so it was likely that some people were losing data.

I added the warning to give people fair warning and prevent data loss. It does not matter what the limit is, due to the db config, there will always be a limit at some point.

I may be persuaded to change the database configuration to up the storage for webpages. (I could bump it to store 16,777,212 characters per page.) However, I also really don't want to just give people license to make endless webpages that nobody reads.

You can always spread your content over multiple web pages, which is actually preferable.

So... Can you give me a compelling reason why you need to create/store really long webpages? Who would be reading them?
