Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

How to backup your webpages

You've put a lot of work into your custom webpages. You don't want to lose them on account of a software glitch, or perhaps another admin (or even you) running into finger trouble.

You can quite easily back them up so that you can replace them quickly if trouble strikes:
  • Launch the admin console.
  • Choose the webpage you want to back up.
  • Click on the "Source" button.
  • Now select all the text (there's even a button to do this for you) and copy it.
  • Paste it into a text file editor, such as Notepad, and save.

That's it!

As with any backup, it pays to make sure they are kept up to date.

To restore, just reverse the process: copy from your backup file and paste into the "Source" window.

Before I upgraded our club's website to FTH 2.0, I did save some pages and images

Yup, that's how I do it... Now if we could just that backup approach automated somehow... hmmm. ;)
