Iniitial Feedback after first meeting - CB0720912

  Greetings

After running our first meeting using FTH4 Beta and trying to reconcile the next day I have a few things. If it would be easier for the developers, I can put them into individual issues and we can close this thread. The issues I have found with the FTH4 Beta
  • When I reconciled our latest meeting, all previous meetings that were unreconciled changed to reconciled.
  • When I went to print the forward signup sheet, this exported to Excel, which required extra work to print and it included the roles that were marked for no signup (Table Topics Speakers). Exporting is great, but the old report was better.
  • The forward signup showed one of the two president roles, that are at the beginning of the meeting is NA.
  • Our SAA didn’t attend and I wanted to put in the person who had done the role, but there was no way to edit this role in an instance of a meeting.
  • I went to enter the table topics speakers as part of the reconciliation process and couldn’t add names. I believe this is because they have the no signup flag set.
  • The table topics evaluators had linked to the speakers, which ended up on the printed agenda I distributed at the meeting, which caused confusion.
  • The Timers report is a great addition. What I’d prefer to see is a new version (additional report) of the FTH agenda, that includes the times, so that everyone can see the times for agenda items. The timer can still use a separate report with the cutoff time on it.
  • The not attending option when displaying the agenda for printing doesn’t display the not attending row.
  • When logged in as the administrator, on a reconciled agenda, I went to confirm a member in a role and received an error message. This message displayed on a new page, with no option but to press the back button. The message received was “You do not have access to this meeting.”
Thanks in advance
  Nik

Wow , great finds. Would be better grouped by area in the system and URL where you saw the issue would really help.

maybe we can knock a few quickly or at least get some clarification for the split.

The not attending option when displaying the agenda for printing doesn’t display the not attending row.
Did you have it turned on in the print options?

The forward signup showed one of the two president roles, that are at the beginning of the meeting is NA.
N/A usually means people were not allowed to signup for the roll. I fyou want a body you have to have a place to put them. Preselecting in the template stops anyone else from grabbing the role.

When I reconciled our latest meeting, all previous meetings that were unreconciled changed to reconciled.
1) this was an error it should have only reconciled the 1 meeting. That has been corrected.

2) Every Sunday all meetings are automatically reconciled so that the member dashboard can be update.

For the not attending row, I wasn't sure that I had selected it, so went back and tried turning the checkbox on and off, for both attending and not attending. The attending row worked as expected and displayed when the page refreshed. Not attending did nothing. If there were no non attendance records, I would expect to see the label and no names.

The template is setup so that we have the president assigned to the role, so when a new meeting is created from the template it fills correctly. When I looked at the forward planner data, 1 of the 4 meetings was correct. The other three displayed NA. When I checked this again just now, I got the expected behaviour.

Shouldn't agendas remain unreconciled until someone does something?

Sorry no.
The VPEd and ClubAdmin can still change a reconciled agenda.
