When adding an event on the calendar, unchecking All-day clears the date from the Starts and Ends selectors, meaning you have to search through the calendar again to select the proper date for each of Starts and Ends fields. Would be great if there is a way to have it maintain the date selected originally.

If you unclick all day first there doesn't seem to be an issue.
I unclicked all day and then complete the date and time for start and finish and saved all went well

2026-09-14 changing to yyyy-mm-dd is an issue.

What is the issue, I am not understanding.
2026-09-14 is the ISO date format, you can change in your basic settings

1) Click on the date you want to add the event
2) unclick all day
3) click the from date and set date and time
4) click the to date and set the date and time
5) Set a title
6)  post a url
7) save
