Functions on FTH4 sites can't currently be hidden

At this time, functions on FTH4 sites cannot be hidden. We want clubs to see all of the features, and that's less likely to happen if those features are hidden. Thank you for your understanding.

Migrating to FTH4; your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin;

Access Setting Problem

A problem exists with new update when assigning/checking permissions for club officiers access. The problem occurs when a club officer has multiple club officer roles. Selecting an individual access option for that person results in a check box being filled automatically for the other roles the club officer has even though it has no relationship. That even occurs when the default option kicks in. With each section only allowing three checked boxes it removes the possibility of correctly assigning access duties. A fix is requested.

1) We always require your club number.
2) the the delegation is working exactly as designed. If the person hold 2 roles then they represent 2 people. You should get your members to read the Toastmasters Promise out loud before the club elections.

Brian, member of 329 here. My takeaway from your answer is that if a member holds more than one office, there is no override to deselect a single office when assigning Access Settings.

While I understand and mostly agree with what I believe is your stance that ALL members need to STEP UP and lead, this does disadvantage clubs who might be struggling with membership numbers. It was very exciting for our club to have SEVEN individuals serving the 7 roles last year (not the case this year, sadly), and will be a case to ensure that in the future we don't have any one person serve in more than one role.

This FTH Access Setting scenario is another tool to get members to step up and run for office.

In reality they only hold one office and the other positions are in name only. If they need to delegate the other positions work then that delegate should assume the position and get the proper credit for doing the work.

Also the President does not need to have access to all delegated positions they can give their place to another member as other officer

With 3 people being able to occupy a delegated roll there is enough places for everyone..

Did you read the problem? In our case the VP Education is also the Treasurer? In the Access settings if I try to assign a permission for a function to him as VP Education it automatically assigns it to the Treasurer as well with no way to remove only one. I don't know why you have such an aggressive approach to the problem? I am just trying to make it better for everyone. I couldn't imagine why you answered like that? Could you explain your problem for us before I give up on this so called "Support"

Drop the treasurer position from VPE and delegate the treasurer function to the VPE
