Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Adding a member "Guest" to the members list

Team
I am the VP Ed for 4671 Master Motivators. We often offer a spot for outside guests to do specialty speeches, practice for contests, etc. We would like to assign the role of Speaker #1 to "Guest" rather than "Ralph Bloggins". Right now, "Ralph Bloggins" has several speeches on record that they have never done, because we need a placeholder.

How would we accomplish having a member "Guest" as a placeholder on an agenda. Having "Ralph Bloggins" giving the Area Directors address does not help our guest understand the meeting, as we have to apologize for the corrections, as well as to the members at the meeting.
(I have not yet tried to create a fake member and have them 'Register' with a secondary email. Would that work?) (Note, Ralph is me this year, and has been others in years past)

I also don't want 'Guest' to continuously receive emails from the club through FTH.

I've done it like this over the years.

Add a member called "{Guest}", with no email address. The "{}" characters mean that the entry is at the end of the member list, not somewhere in the middle where it might confuse people. Because there's no email address, the opt-in email goes to the site admin. Without an email address, nothing can be sent to the member.

Then, when there's a visiting Toastmaster (Area Director, maybe), the role is assigned to "{Guest}". The agenda item description (in the agenda, not template) can be edited to say something like: "Report given by Joel Doe, Area Director", or other wording that fits your situation.

This looks like a good workaround
I will give it a try and see what occurs.
