Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Move the "Your Attendance" block.

First, thank you for all of the work put in to building a great club resource with FTH4.

When I open the Signup/Attendance screen, I see the block for marking attendance at upcoming meetings, then the block for selecting meeting roles.
Logically, I went through all the upcoming meetings and marked my attendance plan for each meeting (In Person or Online).  I hit "Save attendance".
I then moved to the block for Role Assignments and selected meeting roles in each meeting where I had not yet selected a role.
I clicked on "Save selection" and got a popup dialog asking me for my attendance at each of the meetings that I had selected a role for.  Since the club meetings are hybrid, it wanted me to select whether I would be attending In Person or Online.  I had already indicated those plans in the section above.

I see three options for how this can be improved.
1)  Build in a routine so that when the new selections are saved, the system will first check to see if the person has already indicated their attendance plan for the meeting.  If they already indicated that they will attend in person or online, then skip the dialog for that.

2)  Move the Your Attendance block to below the Role Assignments block, so that people would logically complete the Role Assignments first, and then once they've selected a role and indicated their attendance plan they do not need to bother with the Your Attendance block, unless they have not selected roles for some meetings.

3)  Integrate the Attendance selection into the Role Assignments table, so that people would select both at the same time.

Thanks again,

jim
