Functions on FTH4 sites can't currently be hidden

At this time, functions on FTH4 sites cannot be hidden. We want clubs to see all of the features, and that's less likely to happen if those features are hidden. Thank you for your understanding.

Officers & Members pulldown menu

3 weeks 4 days ago
#101223
hi,

Feedback: Isn't it better if we can list those other "Members Only" custom pages listed together under the Officers & Members tab ?

right now, since FTH4 no longer uses options for distinct site layout (like left hand menu bar) and everything that are custom are cramped into a single pull down menu.

cheers,
Eddie

in the past, you can have 2 tabs, public and members only. Now, after you logged in, the members only (custom pages) are located in the club pages pulldown menu. Why can't it be located under the Officers/Members menu ?

The Officers and Members section has a different purpose - it is for officer and member names and contact details for members use

When logged in as a member, you use to the Public Site button to see the equivalent of the FTH3 Public Menu
When logged in as a member, the Pages and Links are separated for different access levels (public / members and officers)  Officers can see all, Members havemembers and public access (which is handy - they don't have to go to the public menu to see the public items)

Furthermore, there is a new feature - you can group items to open their links on a shared page (e.g. photo galleries for different years could be grouped and then accessed from a single page).  I guess you could even put all of your "Officer" material into a single group to separate them from the public & members menu

Please put your club number on every post - or better still in your signature

That sounds great!  I have to try that later.
Is this what you are describing?
