Google/Bing verification

Club 4039 (coronaenthusiasticembarkers.toastmastersclubs.org). Our Google and Bing verification tags are saved on the Website Statistics page and both appear in the page source, but Google Search Console says "The connection to your server timed out" and Bing Webmaster Tools shows "Unexpected error occurred". The pages load fine in a browser. Could you please check: (1) that Google's and Bing's verification crawlers, and search crawlers such as Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot and Claude-SearchBot, can reach club sites without a rate limit or firewall block; (2) our pages carry , so are nofollow and noimageindex intentional, and can clubs be set to index,follow; (3) our canonical URL is the alias address while Find a Club links to the 4039 address, so which should we promote; (4) can clubs customize page titles, since ours is only the club name.

All custom pages have Title, Description and Key words.

coronaenthusiasticembarkers.toastmastersclubs.org is quite a long alias, do you really expect people to remember it and type it?
Your other choice is a custom domain that your club purchases from a domain registrar.

Google Search Console still fails, with: "Ownership verification failed — the connection to your server timed out." The HTML tag is correctly saved in Website Statistics (confirmed), so this is Google's verifier being unable to reach the server at all — the same server-side blocking you just fixed for Bing. Could you please let Google's verification crawler through the same way?
