Problems Adding a New Member

We are having problems adding a new member under the Membership Management Tab in the Admin. Console. This new member was originally on our Guest tab and had declined the Opt-in email. We first tried selecting his name on the guest list and moving him to members list, but that didn't work. Then we tried entering him on the members list, that didn't work. We tried removing him from the guest list and entering him on the members list, but that didn't work either. We may have this problem, because the new member originally declined the Opt-in. Is there anyway to send the Opt-in email to him again after he declined?

1) we ALWAYS need your club number to see what is happening.
2) We will need at least a first name of the guest you are having an issue with.

This person is still showing on the Guest list and is not activated. (did not opt-in)
Here is what to do:
1. Delete this person from the Guest list. Deletes are permitted for people that have not yet opted-in.
2. Re-add them to the Members list. When you do this, they will get an opt-in email. They will need to opt-in via that email.

I removed Qiyan from the guest list and tried to enter him as a member, but when I click save, it doesn’t add him. His name remains on the new line.
Any other ideas?
