You Have been BLOCKED
6 years 3 weeks ago
I have been sending messages to the OFFICERS and MEMBERS email addresses for nearly 5 years.
About 2 months ago anytime I send a message to those addresses I receive the following:
You have been blocked (black listed) from sending emails to this address (officers-1940417@toastmastersclubs.org) from toastmasters@humaninsightsgroup.org. Sorry. If you have any questions about this, please visit 1940417.toastmastersclubs.org .
HOW would I have been blocked and WHO would have initiated that block?
What can be done to REMOVE that BLOCK?
Curiously,
Ron

You have been blacklisted by a different club. Since your club uses the Crowd-Source blacklist, it is impacted by the email addresses that other clubs blacklist.
Your club either needs to add your email address to the Exceptions list for the Crowd-Sourced Blacklist, or stop using it.
Adding to the exceptions list will allow you to send email to your club through the system, but not any other club that is using the Crowd-Sourced Blacklist.

WHY WOULD ANOTHER CLUB BLOCK ME?
WHAT HAVE I DONE TO THEM TO DESERVE BEING BLOCKED?
Your club either needs to add your email address to the Exceptions list for the Crowd-Sourced Blacklist, or stop using it.
WHY WOULD MY CLUB BE USING *MY* E-MAIL ADDRESS?
ONLY I WOULD BE USING MY E-MAIL ADDRESS.
WHERE DO WE FIND THE EXCEPTIONS LIST?

We have no control over the email addresses clubs put on the blacklist. It could even have been accidental. Did you send an email to any clubs shortly before you first noticed the problem?
Clubs can optionally use the crowd sourced blacklist (which includes all email addresses blocked by all clubs). Your club is using that, which is why they need to add your email address to the Exceptions list so that you can send email to your club members. Your club isn't using your email address.
Your website admin can access the Email Settings, and up to 3 officers can be given access. In your club the VPE, VPM and VPPR have access to the Email & Contact Forms module, so any of them can fix the problem
