Sending Blast Email to all Members of my club

I recently sent a blast email to my club members using members-8977@toastmastersclubs.org and got an automatic email back from a former member stating they were no longer at that email address.  The confusing thing is the individual had already been moved to the Former members list a while ago, so I am not sure why they received the email in the first place.  The question I have is when you send an email to the member distribution list for your club does it also include all individuals in the former member list as well, and if so, is there another distribution list that only sends it to current members.

Please be specific.
Which email did you send too?
What was the subject?
Who received that should not have received?
Thank you,

I was sending out an email announcing to the members of our club that we would only meet via zoom for our next meeting. I sent the email to members-8977@toastmastersclubs.org expecting that distribution list to only go to those individuals currently listed under the Members section of the free toast host website under member management. But given the response back I received from one individual who was listed under the Former Members section, it became apparent that this distribution list appears to send it to more than just those listed under the members section.

There are no former members on your club website
You have 17 members on your website
You have a lot of guests on your website
Emails (including agendas) sent to the members group have been going to about 34 people, including some but not all of the guests.

I suspect that some of your members have been moved to the guest list after your last email to the members group was sent.  It is unlikely that emails addressed to members will go to all of one list and some of another list.

The former member in question that received the email that I sent this morning was in the Former Members list, since I went after receiving the email to try to find them in the list and remove them but they were in the former member listing instead.  Following that I moved all members out of the former member group and moved them to the guests listing to try to mitigate the problem going forward, since I only want current members receiving the blast email when I send it out to members-8977@toastmastersclubs.org and not former members as well.

It is hard to troubleshoot when things have been changed.
I did see one bad address (no name) at the top of your guest list - if that was in your former members list it could have caused some strange behaviour.  I've changed the name to {{Guest}}, which has moved it to the bottom of the list.  You can move that to your members list and use if you ever have guests take on roles.  The system dummy email is okay, it will be ignored.
