Quick Add Errors

I accessed the Quick Add tab to add club member information to the Members list. After I saved the information, I went back to the Members tab. The members' names, emails, and phone numbers were listed, but the information was greyed out.
  
1. How do I add my club members without this occurring again?
2. How do I delete the greyed-out members to use Quick Add again and place them in the member's list?

The member needs to click accept in the email they received to opt-in.
