email security and whitelisting

In looking through documentation I am not seeing specifics regarding some management options

1. my impression is that  the emails of persons "accepted" to the server may send emails to any group configured to the server. What is less unclear is whether or not it is dependent on being a member of say the members group.  That is can a prospect group member send emails to the officer group or member group, etc.

2. whitelisting.

2.a. I think I am seeing that emails sent from our district leadership to members or officers.toastmastersclub.org are not being accepted.  I base this on the fact if I accidentally use an email other than the one in my record, I see an error response.  I am not sure if this is the case, and why, our district leaders are not noticing.  Please advise if there is something I seem to be missing.  It seems there is a task to be added to management to whitelist district leadership addresses as they change yearly.

secondarily, is there a security log?  what logs are there besides the notice of deletion and the one when the admin initially logs in please.

2.b  I noticed in our whitelist column the email of one of our members.  it seemed like it might be a holdover of some sort because it does not appear I, or other need this.  Are there some email domains that need this, or is there something strange elsewhere going on here?  I took it out and seems the member (and officer) cannot send emails to the group.

thanks

Details of who can send emails to the various groups is shown on your website on the Club E-mail Addresses page.  Basically officers can send to any group, and members can send to Members or Officers groups or custom groups that are part of those groups).

Addresses on the whitelist can send to the same groups a member can send to.  Useful for contact by 3rd party such as Zoom or other apps used by the club - but some of these could be blocked.

The log only shows the last time a member signed in.  There is no record of log in attempts.  Depending on your email notification settings the admin can get notifications of requests for password resets.

You haven't provided your club number or name of the member in the whitelist.  If the member has been blacklisted by anyone, you would need to whitelist them to allow their emails through to your club only.
