Security setting will not change in file manager

Security settings appear to change when updated and saved, but roll back to old settings when you exit and go back on the site.

Are you talking about files in the file manager signifying Public or Members only?

Which files are you referring to?

What should they be locked or unlocked?

What Browser and version are you using?

Using IE10 and the file is 000_Current_2014_01_BET_Monthly.pdf. I was unlocking the file to make it public. This was at 2am last night, but today all seems to be working.

The file manager stuff is really slow unfortunately. It is based on an implementation that I intend to overhaul later this year.

Because it is slow, it may not be as responsive as you like particularly when there are a lot of people logged on.

In particularly, you may click on the lock setting and it may not "take" when you think it should. Sometimes you may have to click it several times to get it to take when a lot of people are accessing the server.
