I am having trouble staying logged in as the site admin. Once logged in I can go into the pages but especially when going to membership management it says it is already logged out as admin and when I close out of the console it then reverts back to not being logged in at all on the home page. I am trying to do some updates and this is making it very hard.

You might also need to clear the browser cache / internet history after making any changes.

How do I clear the browser Cache/ internet history?

That depends on the browser. I think it's under the history or tools menu in Firefox, and probably under internet settings in Internet Explorer. I'm running an oddball browser right now, so I can't check easily, unfortunately.
