Mailing list

I am a SAA at KeyForce Toastmaster club (8643) and trying to use mailing list. I sent a test mail to member-8643@toastmastersclubs.org. However, I got a below error message. Could you tell me what I need to do in order to use the milling list feature.

member (member-8643@toastmastersclubs.org) is not recognized as a valid FreeToastHost distribution list, officer alias, or group name. You cannot send email to member-8643@toastmastersclubs.org. For more information on using FreeToastHost email addresses, visit support.toastmastersclubs.org .

You've misspelled the mailing list address - it is members-8643@toastmastersclubs.org (Note the "s" at the end of "members")

Try the amended version and it should work.

Thank you very much for your quick feedback. However, I got another error which is following. In order to get the right permission, could you tell me what I need to do? I address is the same as my profile in ToastmastersClubs.org.

You do not have the right permissions to send an e-mail to this e-mail address (members-8643@toastmastersclubs.org) from tm@yokoyama.ws . Be sure your "From" address in your e-mail client is the same as your address in your ToastmastersClubs.org member profile.

That's not a question that I can answer, unfortunately. We need to wait for the programmer or the admin (Brian) to reply.

No member information has been entered in your FreeToastHost website. For you to use the members list, someone must put the members name and email addresses (at a minimum) into the membership management area of the website. The website restricts people sending to the members list to only members already in the list. No members in the list = no ability to use the list.
