I got the following email, but I have no idea who Kevin Frizzel is. He is not a member of our club.
I am wondering what this means and if there is something unpleasant going on.

From: "Kevin Frizzell <kevinf76@hotmail.com>

I have checked our email logs and I have confirmed that this email did go through our email handling system.

There are 2 Possibilities that come to mind:

1. Someone got your admin password somehow. I suggest changing your password.

2. Some email systems cache display names of email addresses and do not update those display names over time. ( a bad email system design in my opinion) We have seen that before--Gmail has that flaw. It is possible that our server address was associated with that name at some point in the past in your email. I would search your email for that name and our server address and see if the name comes up for any other emails. Generally, the workaround for the flaw is to create an explicit contact record in your email address book associated with our server address--that generally overrides whatever display name is found in emails.

I think that #2 is more likely, but you should probably change your password anyway to be on the safe side.

Thaks, Steve. I now know what happened:
1) Some time ago, I got a contact request by Kevin Frizzell
2) Somebody tried to log in under my name without a password (maybe it was myself by mistake).
