I have some questions on the new Freetoasthost 2.20 website.
first how do I put former members back on when they want to be reinstated. I have been using the old way to get them back on...
Next, It says to close my Browser and then down load the blue writing at the bottom of the page. Not sure what you mean by closing my Browser.
I am not good with computer but I have been able to keep up for the last few years with the wevsite

Elaine,

The "new way" to reinstate members is to click on Membership Management, then click on the Former Members Tab. Click the check box for the former members that you want to reinstate, then click on the Select People then Select a Tool dropdown to choose Move to Members List

Closing your browser just means to close down your internet window by clicking on the X in the upper right corner. Then click on the link at the bottom that reads (Click here to reload website from server)

Hello Elaine,

We will ask you to close your internet browser software and restart it whenever we have made a change to the scripts that run on our server computer. You should only need to do that once. We will ask you to do that to ensure that you are running the most recent scripts on the server for your website.

In addition, there are scripts that run on your computer for your website. If we are updating those scripts, we will ask you to scroll all the way to the bottom of your website (after reloading your internet software) while you are viewing it and click that blue link that says: (Click here to reload website from server.)

As far as reinstating former members, you can just click on the Former Members tab in Membership Management, then click the check box at the left side of the rows containing the former members you wish to reinstate, and then finally select Move to Members List from the drop down Membership Tools menu in the center of the screen above the rows.
