Data in Member downloads not available on www.wordwranglers.org, club 9214

after a member logs in to www.wordwrangles.org he cannot see the folders in the members download area, see attachment.

However, the data is still there if I login as system admin and go to the admin console, see attachment.

The directory was originally setup to resid on a Google Docs directory. The local wordwranglers.org website pointed to the Google URL. The URL is still there, see attachment, but regular users can't get to it.

I think this has been broken since the 4Q update.

Does a Google user ID and password need to be specified on the wordwranglers.org website somewhere? It looks like the users can't access the data?

Any suggestions on how to fix this? The fomer admin left the club and is no longer in contact with me.

I think that the problem with your Member Downloads page is that you have hidden the system defined Member Downloads and created a new page of your own called Member Downloads, which is causing a conflict. This issue has been corrected for future pages with "Reserved" names, but yours custom page must have been created before the problem was picked up. Please try renaming your custom page (the title can stay the same).

For your Google Drive you need to make the documents accessible on each of the Google Docs e.g. "can be viewed with anyone who has the link".

I still can't see the downloads file and, now, it doesn't appear to be a link. What next?

I am not sure what caused the errors, but your change seems to have worked - the new name is now saved.

In order to access the custom page with active links you will have to log in as a member. When logged in as site admin you can only edit the page and links. You have hidden the FTH system provided Member Downloads link, so you won't see that link on your site. You can still use the downloads (via the admin console), but you will have to provide links to the files (either in your custom Member Downloads page or elsewhere).
