Cannot log on as club member

Greetings -

I already posted this request, but in reply to someone else's similar problem. It sounds like you are working on these issues.

As I said before, I can log on as site admin, but I can only access the site as a member if I ask for a new password, and then do not enter a new password but just use the link to get me onto the site.

Other members have said they cannot email from the site. It appears that several functions are in flux at the present.

For member logins, you can always use your email address as an alternative to waiting for the pop-up to show. Just type your email address in, then type your password, and you should be able to get in.

Not all members can send emails to everyone on your database - see the "Club E-mail Addresses" menu item for the various permissions. Also make sure they are not including BCC's in the emails - the email won't be sent if there is a BCC.

Once you have accessed the site via the link you should be able to set up a new password for future use. You can use that or leave the password field blank (if you have forgotten your password or never accessed the site before) to generate an email with a link to the site.

I imagine that you are all volunteers and I would like to express my appreciation and that of my Club for your support of Toastmasters everywhere by volunteering your valuable time and technical expertise.
To 'complete the circle' here is the member/user's comment after trying your suggestion:

Hooray;The suggestion of the tech support person to enter my e-mail address instead of my name WORKED. For some reason my password no longer worked, but I was able to change that so now I AM AGAIN ABLE TO ENTER THE WEBSITE AS A MEMBER. My name still pops up with the "AC" after it, but so long as I ignore it I can bypass the problem.

If the member goes to Edit Your Profile (members only menu), he/she can edit the name and change the "AC" to whatever it should be.
