Search engines find the club download page rather than homepage

When I search for our Exeter Speak-Ups club in search engines, the document download page rather than homepage appears in the list and I suspect this is why our webpage is not first in the list. More troubling is that the non-profit pages appearing first and sometimes second in the search engine listings provide defunct club info. I think they are automatically generated non-profit pages and there seems to be no way to get them off the web and no way to update them. They contain incorrect meeting location, time, phone numbers, and officer info. This is a potential deterrent to newcomers and we would like the search engines to find and display our homepage link, not the download page that contains club documents. How can this be fixed?

Thank you.

Not sure what you mean by non profit pages. If they are about your club most search engines have a way for you to request the information be removed, depending on the search engine it could take 6 months.

if is goggle "toastmasters Exeter nh" your home page comes up #2
