Data Transfer Error Message & VERY Slow Website

I have been trying to update member profiles and roles in the meeting for the past couple of weeks and keep getting the following error message:

"Data Transfer Error
JavaScript Function=MemberProfile Status=error

In addition the new website has been INCREDIBLY Slow....any suggestions?
