Repeating Agenda Roles not being self-populated

Hello!

I have created agenda templates for our meetings following the instructions of the Docs. Then created a couple of live agendas (Jun 4 & July 16) to try and populate them in advance.

My repetitive roles such as *Toastmaster* either show a "-" on the live agenda when I click on the not for sign up OR they let a different member sign up for the same role if I click on the members can sign up for role....

what am I doing wrong?!

You are doing nothing wrong... Your 2nd agenda populated Maria's name automatically in the Toastmaster field, just as it should... Did you try to delete the first one and recreate it?

OK, that is weird! It did not show populated for me. Still had two names for Toastmaster on the 2nd agenda: Ahmed & Maria.

I changed the first Toastmaster role slot to Maria and recreated the second slot with *Toastmaster* and now that one doesn't get populated. I will try redoing the template and the first June agenda tomorrow.

Is it possible that the first time I write Toastmaster or other repeating role I should already be using the * * ?

The issue is that in some of the agendas, the first Toastmaster role lacks the asterisks, so it is not matched up correctly with the other Toastmaster roles that do have the asterisks. *All* of the keyworded roles need to have the asterisks for the text matching to work properly.

On the help documents it doesn't read clearly that ALL repeating roles should have the * * Maybe it should be worded "each and every ocurrence", because I took it to mean each repetition had to have the asterisks... oh well... could be 'cause I'm a foreigner
