The DCP history of 2853 shows that it was Downtown Toastmasters through 2012-2013, then it was renamed to XD, then it was renamed to "New XD" this past September, then was renamed San Antonio Advanced Communicators in or near this last October, but still has the same club charter date as the old Downtown Toastmasters.

So the club has gone through several name (and presumably) leadership changes, but it's the same club number. It has been so long since the club was Downtown Toastmasters, you might not even be able to find the previous admin.

Find-a-club says that 2853 is San Antonio Advanced Communicators - what else do you need to confirm the history?

George, thanks for that invaluable information. B) I had a hunch that it may be same club, but your information confirms it. I just did not want to presume it was the same club unless I had solid evidence of it, which you have not provided.

So, with that, Bill, you should do a change form to get the website transfer to your control: www.toastmastersclubs.org/change/
As the prior administrator is unlikely to be available to approve the change, you should follow the instructions in the following doc so that you can basically approve the change yourself: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/w...-no-longer-available

Basically, make yourself the club contact so you can approve the change directly. You can refer to the following doc for information on updating the club TI contact info: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/u...s-international-site

I also recommend that you refer to our Quick Start Page, since even though this is an existing website, from your standpoint, it will be like starting newly. If you need any assistance retrieving any of the default content provided with new websites, let me know. (We do not really have a website "reset", per se.)
