Calendar time off by one hour

We have meetings secheduled for 1:05pm in the meeting agenda (For example: 6/10 & 6/24), but on the calendar they show as 2:05pm. I have set the time zone in the admin console to Michigan. The calendar will not let me change the time.

How can we have the correct time on the calendar?

Thanks,
Stan Green

Unfortunately, the calendar javascript code actually ignores the time zone setting and instead adheres to your computer setting. (The calendar is from a 3rd party code library--not our code.) The agenda code tries to compensate for this for meeting entries by forcing the calendar entry to conform to the time zone setting with some date/time math, but that compensation only happens when you save the agenda, not when you change the time zone setting.

So the fix for incorrect meeting entries on the calendar is currently just to open the associated agenda, click the edit (pencil) button and save the agenda. That save should reapply the proper compensation.

I realize this may be a bit of a pain. The whole time zone thing is going to have to be re-done in the future. I just do not have a simple, effective plan to deal with it right now.

Thanks for the description and the work around for this issue. My guess is the VP of Ed created the agenda when they were in a different time zone. (I think our corp network updates our PC time zone when we access it from a different location.) Now that we know the issue, we can deal with it.

Thanks,
Stan
