Photo not viewable on club website

Hello,

I tried to post a photo on my club website home page. I can see the photo on my PC and Android phone. Others cannot see the photo on their PC, Mac, iPhone, or Android phone. The photo is a jpeg file, 452 KB, and is 1244x830 pixels.

Could you please let me know why I can see the photo and others cannot? I've attached the photo.

Did you upload the photo to the server or did you link it from your phone?

I logged in as the site admin to the website on my PC. Then I launched the admin console, went to the home page tab, and I copied and pasted the photo to the home page. After I saved the change, I could see the photo on my PC and Android phone, even after logging out as the admin.

I will the tips from your link and see how that goes. Thanks for your help.

OK. You need to upload it to the server first. My clue was when I went clicked the source button, it showed as coming from gmail.

Just take your time, be patient and it will get there.

I tried following the instructions in your link and uploading the photo to the server. However, there was an error, and I was not permitted to upload the photo. I've attached a screen shot.

I did it for you so that I could see what was happening.

The issue was the extension. Even though it was saved as a jpeg, it needed the extension jpg to be uploaded. I renamed the file on my computer.

If that wasn't in the documentation, we will get that modified.
