Agenda Edit Function is not working

Hello, From Southern Oregon Speechmasters club #5840.

I am helping out the SO Speechmasters club and have run into a glitch on their Agenda Management tab in the Admin Console. I was able to amend the agenda for next Wednesday 2/24/16 using the edit function on the Home page accessible Meeting Agenda member signup page but I am unable to make some of the same changes on the Template. The main issue is deleting the member signup option for certain functions.In the edit screen, I uncheck the top box so the signup option won't show but it still does. I have reloaded the page. Tried deleting the whole function and reentering it. It just wants a member name to show with each function. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

Could you maybe post a screen shot and exact series of steps to reproduce the problem?

Looking at your club details, I think that the problem may be that you aren't VP Ed or the site admin. They have more access privileges than "other officer".

There are a few ways to deal with this: to ask for the admin password, to get promoted to admin, or to guide either the existing admin or the VP Ed through the process. The Contest Chair also, I think, has extended edit access, but my memory is a little hazy on this.

Make sure you save the template after making the change. That will only update the template. Any future agendas already created from the original template won't be affected, only new agendas created after the template was changed will reflect the updated signup status (and any other changes). You'll either have to delete any future dated agendas and create them from the new template, or update them manually.

As long as you have edit rights you will see the pulldowns to assign members, log in as a regular member and the pulldowns will disappear.
