Hi Steve, Pam, Brian, Thanks for responding. I appreciate the basic tips. I am familiar with these. Here is what I am doing.

I log in as Site Admin and launch the admin console so I have full access to all functions. I was able to delete the signup feature on some of the line items. There are two that wouldn't let me. Two that I created. I save and close after each edit.

I have attached some screen views so I am more easily understood.

1. To get to these screen views, I launch the admin. console, select Meeting Agenda Settings, select Template #2: International Speech Club Contest agenda, click on the edit pencil next to the line I want to edit, get the edit screen...

2. In the "Before" view, you will see the "One minute for Judges" at 7:22pm has a member signup option. I want to delete that. I want to do the same with the "Evaluation Contest" line item at 7:04

3. In the Item Edit View you will see that I have unchecked the first box so no one can sign up for this position.

4. In the "After" view you will see there is no change.

I have tried it again before responding and I still get the same response whether I do the work in Chrome or Safari.

It is a bit perplexing.
Thanks for looking into this.

A PS - Attached is a copy of the parts of the agenda where it worked.
You will see the "One minute for Judges" has no signup feature at 7:30 and 7:46.
Again, I am accessing this as Site Admin.
Thank you again.

This behavior is as designed. You have to understand that even though the role cannot be signed up for by *members* you are still able to assign someone to the role. This is to allow for roles to have names pre-assigned to them that do not change that often. (e.g., Sargent At Arms) For example, in my club we change the templates once a year when we change officers to reflect the new Sargent At Arms and our new Club President.

What matters is what the member sees on the agenda sign-up screen once the dated agenda has been created. That is where the sign-up role check box "kicks in". Essentially, it just affects whether a sign up button is shown for a specific agenda role.

Therefore, just ignore the drop downs for the non-signup roles if you do not need them.
