I also have applied twice for access as site administrator and received another email congratulating me on having achieved permissions.
It still does not work.
This is the second round of permissions. I did update the contact information for the previous administrator, and then re-send a request for access. That was apparently granted (per an email received on 2/9) but I CANNOT GET IN. Instead I am still getting an "invalid user name or password" error message.

PS It does not work regardless if I use a "Zero" or a capital "O" for the middle character. Which I think should be a letter.

Thank you, I will also try posting this to the forum at FTH again. Maybe there are other things I need to do? Besides following the instructions to log in via the link sent, and type in the log-in and the password sent to me? I really would love to get us updated as some of the information on there is just wrong,

Aspiring web admin,
Pam Beasley

Roger, I am probably being stupid. There is no FTH link in my SPAM folder and the one in my email takes me to the HOME PAGE for my club. If I click on the tab to Log in as Site Administrator, it opens a window by that same name and invites me to "log in as site administrator to access the administrator console".
In order to do that, it asks my club number 1447830 and password from the email I got from FTH.
When I enter the club number and the password (and I have tried entering it twice) I get an error message that the club # or password is incorrect. Then I am offered 2 options: Forgot password?? or Change Site Administrator. The latter takes me back to the window where I have already asked the previous administrator to let me in.

Pam, I can confirm that you are currently set up as the site administrator for club 1447830.

If you still have the email, please close your website if it is still open, than click on the login key (link) provided near the top of the email message (not on the club address further down). That will open your club site on the home page with you already logged in as admin. Click on the "Launch Admin Console" button, then select the Administrator tab and enter and confirm your new password in the boxes provided. Note: If the button says "Login as Site Admin" , you've chosen the wrong link

If you've deleted the email, click on the Login as Site Admin box and then click "forgot password". You'll get a message saying an email has been sent to the site admin. Find that email and follow the instructions (as above).

Pam,

You are not being stupid, Let's try this. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the screen and click on the link to reload the website. That wil clear your browser history for FTH only. If you still have an issue, private message any one of the Ambassadors with your preferred password and we can set it for you.

Thanks to both of you Roger and Pam.
As it turned out the link that came with the email that I was approved to administer at the site was a short link to VS club on FTH. There were only 2 options presented to log in: club member or administrator when I clicked that link.

I was being a whiney baby and asked someone from our district if she could help me with it; turned out she is a FTH Ambassador and sent me a more powerful and potent (and much longer) link and YES, there it was: the magic third tab to get into the administrative console. So then I followed your instructions, went in and established a password and so forth.

You guys have been very patient and helpful. I am excited now to look at all of the getting started helps and...then...updating us!
