How to create a new template

Create new > + > Give your new template a name and a start time. There is no way to name the template nor is there a save as template button.

What am I missing?

A templtate is not the same as a dated agenda.

Create your dated agenda, save it, then use the pencil icon to go back in and save as a named template for future use.
