Deletion of members before saving to former members file.

Read the instruction too late and deleted members names from current members file
but did not save to former members.
Help please if you can.
I am just learning to navigate the website and make admin changes.

If you deleted them within the past 30 days, you can undelete them.

Just click the Undelete option from the Membership Tools menu... You will see a list of deleted members than can be recovered, then check the appropriate checkboxes, select Undelete again from the menu, then finally select Normal View from the menu to switch everything back.
