FTH agendas can't print double-sided, disabled my Epson double-sided option

Monday 11/21 I tried to print a FTH agenda double-sided using Epson Artisan (that allows double-sided printing). One copy was successful, but when I tried to print several agenda copies, a message popped up that FTH couldn't do that; and the Epson's 2-side option 'disappeared' (became disabled I thought only for the duration of printing agendas). I had to print multiple copies of page 1 (top of agenda); then flip each page over one at a time to hand feed to print page 2 (bottom of agenda), to prevent damp inked page 1s from sticking together and double-feeding. This was the first time I tried to print an agenda double-sided.

Now 5 days later, I tried to print a Word document double-sided, and Epson Artisan 2-side option is 'permanently' disabled. (NOTE: I haven't reset the printer yet to default sessions to see if it clears the issue.) Has anyone else experienced this?

I use the Epson to print two-sided brochures, contest double-sided programs from Word without issue. Until I resolve this, it will take more twice as long to hand-feed future double-sided jobs.

I am the system developer and absolutely know that there is no FTH sourced pop-up for that--must be either your browser or something else on your computer doing that. We do not set printer settings.

I've just printed double sided agendas on my Epson ET-4550 - no problems and no messages
