VPM is defined but does not show up on Club Email Addresses list

Club 5577.

The VPM is in the membership management list, she has a legit email address, and she is defined as VPM. So vpm-5577@toastmastersclubs.org should forward to her, right? But that address doesn't show up on the Club Email Addresses list.

When I tried to use it anyway, I got this from Gmail (replaced email address with *):

You do not have the right permissions to send an e-mail to the following e-mail address(es) from *******@gmail.com: vpm-5577@toastmastersclubs.org

Be sure your "From" address in your e-mail client is the same as your address in your toastmastersclubs.org member profile.

I had CC'd the vped of the same club on the email and did not get a corresponding email for it.

So what's going on?

Your VPM has opted not to allow a club officer email address (email settings tab of Edit your profile).
