Printing introductions

9 years 1 month ago

I noticed this last time I was TM, but didn't think about it until I was TM again this week. When I print speech intro's from Firefox, the font is much smaller than it used to be. When I print in IE, it's large like normal. Am getting older so it helps to have that font a little bigger. Might be a firefox bug that goes away with an update, but thought I would mention it.

thx,
Rich

Rich,

What you are running into is what I would refer to as a "normalization" issue... in other words, different browsers use different defaults for stylistic settings.

My development website includes code to normalize all the styling stuff for all browsers to the same "starting point", but that has not been released to the production websites due to side effects that have not yet been resolved.

Long story short, I have a solution in the works, but I need to work out all the kinks in the solution. As a band-aid, I may just force the font size for the intro for all browsers, regardless of need.
