create new agenda - why does "assign" box appear when I uncheck assign

create new agenda/edit agenda - why does "assign" box appear when I uncheck "this is a role for which members can sign-up"? For eg: the role of Toastmaster only needs to be signed up once. There is no need for space to be allowed for sign-up every time Toastmaster appears on agenda.

Probably because you did not keyword the roles w/ askerisks. Unless you do that, the system has no way to know that the roles are multiple instances of the same role.
