e mail using the website e-mailer

Hi

I request you turn of this button >>>>>> "Yes, Via Website Emailer" <<<<<< as shown on page 3 of the attached.

because as shown on page 4 of the attached it gives the impression that it has sent an e-mail

but in fact it does not work.

I have included all the pages of E-mail and contact forms.

Perhaps I have not set up the e-mail correctly.

But if that is the case why does it let me send e-mails and tell me it sent and e-mail.

yes I know I can take the e-mails and paste them into my own mail and that works fine

But this maybe old way of doing it draws people in. Shouldn't it be shut down blocked or otherwise removed.

I am the Web admin for our club.

I would rather not have to answer questions on why the email (if you take this particular route) does not work.

I hope you can see a way clear to remove this non working code or tell me how to make it work.

Thanks for your time

Robert, I am the current system developer. First, thank you for the PDF. Second, you are running the same code as every other club/district using the system. While it is possible that there may be a bug somewhere, I am not going to disable code for just one club/district.

Frequently, there is something set wrong or you have an email that is going to your spam folder.

As this system is maintained and supported by Toastmasters members like yourself (including me) who volunteer their time in service of other Toastmaster's use of the system, there is a certain implicit expectation that you will cooperate and assist us in investigating any unexpected behaviors of the system. You certainly do not have to do that, as is your prerogative, but you should then also not expect much from us if you decline to cooperate with us.

Please take care that your tone in forum posts does not come across as a rant. This is free system using free software tools that is free for use by Toastmasters clubs. I know that is not an excuse for software issues, but I have put countless hours into the development of this system, so i am very invested in it, and I really do want it to work well for everyone using it. If you will work with us, I promise you we will our best to try to figure out what is going on on your end.

Lastly, please familiarize yourself with our Terms of Use: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/terms-of-use-agreement Your website floater message is blocking the Toastmasters banner at the top which is prescribed by TI as proper branding for websites.

Now, to your issue, all of the emails sent/processed by the system are logged and any of our FTH Ambassadors/Admins or me can check those logs to see if an email was actually sent by our system.

Therefore if you can tell me when you sent an email that you did not receive or if you can send one and then tell us that you did that, we can look you up in the logs around the time you sent the email.
