Contest Tuesday! Agenda duplicating names & not allowing new sign up items

I'm running the first of our two contests on Tuesday (in 4 days) and my agenda is blowing up. Coming out of the holiday weekend, I'm struggling to get roles filled so, this is an immediate thing.

The same member is filling in for all renditions of that role. I think it started when I modified one of the descriptions or added a new role.

I first went and deleted the people with the (X) next to their name but then it showed as a role a member couldn't sign up for (though that box was checked). Then I realized that they were getting notified of the change and thought the contest was cancelled.
I talked them all off the ledge but it is driving me nuts. I managed to get it fixed, not sure how.

Then, this morning, I tempted fate to change a description because I want my Toastmaster to run the Table Topics while votes are tallied. The moment I added the new role, it duped again (see image).

I'm at my wits end. I saved the dup as an Agenda Template called "eval 2" to try and fix it in sort of a beta testing area but that is not working either. I

A quick fix would be helpful. I'm running out of time. I'm the President, de facto VPE, webmaster and, now, contest chair because I have too many new members. Your assistance would be great. I love FTH so much and don't understand why every club doesn't use it.

All role name must be unique no spaces.

Contestant 1 is the same as
Contestant 2

Contestant_1 are different
Contestant_2
