Do you experience this slow down when not at work?

It works fine at home. At work the site loads right away, but after you sign on as either a member or administrator, you get a "Waiting for 9692.toastmastersclubs.org" message for 60 - 90 seconds. Clearing the cache sometimes helps for a short time. Happens with either Chrome or IE11. Happening with several other member from inside the CNA network.

The system is responding in 1 to 5 seconds there is no performance issue.

1) since you are at work try accessing site via https://

2) Since you are at work and people at work are also having the issue i suggest you talk to your network people.

Using the "https://" did the trick. I've tried it several times and it works great. I'm advising our club members to update their favorites. Thanks so much for your help.

You can also enable the "Enforce HTTPS access" setting in the Admin Console.

However, when you do this, you need to check your content to ensure that any images, iframes, etc. are also using https: or relative references (better) in their urls. If you still have http content references when accessing your website via https, you can end up with images, iframes, etc. blanked out by the browser.
