Subject in Email Templates Not Populating

Our club just discovered the email templates and love this feature! As we started to implement them, we noticed that the email subject doesn't populate from the template. We're in the membership management section, selecting a member, choosing to send a basic email, and loading an email template.

As currently implemented, it does not populate subjects.

The reason is that the same templates functionality is used for agenda emails templates, and for agenda emails the subjects never come from the template, they are generated as a default for the email. Essentially the functionality is used in two different places.

The subjects could certainly be saved and restored, but we need a strategy to account with the difference for how the functionality is used for agenda emails vs for the send basic email functionality. Perhaps subjects are just ignored for the agenda emails case.

FYI, I do have a version that I created for our eblast mass mailer that does save and restore subjects. (so it is certainly doable)

Thanks for letting us know this is how it is designed to work. It would be helpful to find a way to save the subject. Until then, we either need to type it in or (more likely) forget to put it in there.
