Hi Toasthost! I am editing an agenda template (Contest TT & International) and get inconsistent behavior from the checkbox "This is a role for which members can sign up". Image is attached. I want to remove the option from lines like "ballot" and others but it's not working. I deleted roles and added them again, but it's still inconsistent. Can you help? :) -Lauren

I had no problem with your 7.17 role which was the only Ballot role with the signup selected. You'll only see the effect when you create a dated agenda from the template

If you put asterisks around the word *Ballots* for the role titles, they'll only show as one item on your role report

When you say "it's not working", you need to tell us what exactly you expected to happen vs specifically what happened.

If you set those check boxes, you need to make sure you click the Save button before moving onto another role. The checkbox settings are not automatically saved when you change them.

Hi Steve! Thanks for your help. I still can't fix this :/ I created an agenda template (contest TT & International) but can't remove the signup dropdown from some roles. See image below. You can see "Not a Member Signup Role" appear when I hover, but the signup dropdown remains. I've tried combinations of saving my changes. Please let me know your thoughts :) -Lauren, www.henryhudsontm.org

Remember as the editor the drop downs always show. Regular members will not see the drop downs, and cannot signup for the role.

To add to what Brian noted, the drop-downs are there so that you as the agenda editor can assign people to roles even if they can not sign up for them. e.g., the Sargent At Arms role... should normally not be a sign-up role, but you still need to be able to assign the person to the role. Normal members do not see this editor view, they sign up for roles by clicking the buttons on the normal agenda view screen.
