Error on changing domain name was created by rebchris
HELP! I've wasted three days on trying to figure this out and read through the service request logs on my own.

Our club changed its name from Salt Lake Hardware to Marmalade Toastmasters. Our domain name needs to change correspondingly from slhardware.com to marmaladetm.com. We use GoDaddy to register the domain name and provide name service.

The attached document shows the screen shot of the error message I get when I try to change the domain name using the admin console. The are notes below the screen shot describing all the combinations and permutations I've tried. Also, I included screen shots of the GoDaddy DNS template used to create the DNS entries and the entries as seen on the GoDaddy display screen. In addition, I included screen shots for lookups of marmaladetm.com, www.marmaladetm.com and mail.marmaladetm.com.

Some questions:
1. When the domain name is changed in the admin console is a lookup done to verify the DNS entries for the domain name?
2. Am I trying to do something that's not possible because I'm changing the domain name out from under my login to the admin console?
3. Does this domain name change need to be done by a FreeToastHost admin?

Thank you for your help.

It is more likely a problem with the SSL certificate generation for the new domain.

I will have to look into it a bit later when I am not at my day job.

Okay, thank you for the speedy reply. I checked the FreeToastHost docs on SSL cert generations. Looks like that's done internally on FreeToastHost and not something that I forgot to do, so I'll wait to hear back from you.

Has anyone had time to look into this problem? It's been 3 weeks since the SR was submitted.
