Can't send email message out with agenda. Won't let me type in the message box

Working with Chrome on Mac

I am trying to send out the meeting agenda through our Free Toast Host web site. It won't let me type a personal email message to include with the agenda. The cursor won't show up in the message box.

I notice that when I attempt to type, it grays out and highlights the box on the right that says "Options." The other boxes are blue. If I click on the option box and select an option, it turns blue. But, the minute I go to try and type something in the message box, the option box turns gray again with the highlight as if I have not completed the necessary task before attempting to write a message.

Type your message in first. and then it will work.

The same thing happened to me. When I try to type first in the message box, it won't let me type in the message. I work around I discovered if you select a font under font drop down you can then type in the message box. You will have to do this each time you send out an email.

What browser are you using?

Same thing is happening to me. I'm using Firefox - latest version, whatever that is, always install updates. The temporary workaround of selecting a font also worked for me. Thanks for that tip!

Steve - I have the same problem using MS Edge (I last used the function over the weekend without trouble).

A simple double click in the text box does the trick - no need to select font

Observation:
On opening the email the "Send this email to" dropdown is grey and has focus, the other 2 dropdowns are blue
A single click moves focus to the middle drop down.
All subsequent single clicks lock focus on the options drop down.
Double click any time and the text box gains focus
