Unable to Upload Photos

Greetings,

I am unable to upload photos to the Educationally Speaking (#6970723) club site. I tried to replace the photo on our home page by uploading a new image to the server using Edit This Page. I tried replacing my avatar in the Edit Your Profile dialog. The Send to Server option causes an error message that the server is down for work. It's been giving that same message for several hours.

The profile photo upload generates the following error message:
"Error: selected file must be
a jpg, png, or gif image file."

The same jpg file that wouldn't upload as my profile image on the Educationally Speaking site uploaded with no problem to the Jackpot Speakers (#2180) site.

My apologies if i'm not explaining this clearly. Please let me know if you need additional information.

P.S. Edited to also attach the actual image file here that i was trying to upload as my profile photo.

Can you try renaming it without the punctuation and then retrying the upload? Frequently, punctuation and special characters in the filenames mess up uploads. I try to work around it but my workaround is not always successful.

Okay, i just tried it again after renaming the file "365x4x065x015.jpg" and still no joy.

Also tried ALL my other club sites again (listed in signature) to see which ones i could successfully change the profile photo on. It didn't work on any of them at this time. I got that same error message. I was using Google Chrome on a PC earlier. Used Chrome on my MacBook Air when i got home. Switched to Firefox to see if that would work. Nothing.

Try it now...

The GDPR / data privacy updates are messing everything up... grrrr What a PITA
