A member sent me a new photo to use, after I uploaded it and saved it the member is no longer visible and I can not check the box to make him public. I tried different browsers without success. His photo is 2000x3000. Does size matter?

The photo size does not matter--the code scales it down.

The issue is that we had to recently disable the feature of admins to make profiles public due to all the GDPR / privacy regulation stuff. One of the key elements of those regulations is that people must be able to maintain control of their own information--our assessment was that allowing someone other than the member to make their information "public" would be problematic moving forward. There is a question about how much we should be allowing admins to do on members behalf because of the current regulations.

The whole thing about what admins should and should not be allowed to do on behalf of members is likely to be an ongoing discussion in these forums. (Feel free to weigh in.)

Bottom line though (for now) is that your member will need to login and make their own profile public.
