Can't Select Member Name for Agenda Role

Hello. Our club does not always have all the meeting roles filled prior to the meeting. In an effort to help members track their meeting roles, I will edit past agendas to reflect who filled the role during the meeting. I am trying to add members on a past agenda, but their names are shaded out on the assigned list. When I check their profile under Membership Management two members have the box checked to allow the club admin to edit their profiles, and 1 member does not have the box checked. What do I need to do to be able to assign the members to the agenda?

That is because they marked themselves absent in the attendance report.

Is there a way for members to go to the past agenda and change their attendance status?

The VPED or Site Admin can change, it is on the Dated Agenda.
