Your new Opt-In functions makes it difficult to create an accurate agenda for meeting participants that are (or will) not be long time members,
I think that linking Opt-In to Agenda selection is a subtly bad design. As I don't care if they get (or don't) get club emails, so much as I want to tell members that the slot is filled (and for the Toastmaster) by whom with what.
I had some "Potential MemberX" placeholders in. (I think they had noreply@??" for email)
I just added "Guest ToastmasterX" members for some district and other club visitors.
I did not put an email on the Quick Add, and I got an opt-in request mailed to me (as Admin) I affirmed them.
But when I changed the agenda to add them. The site crashed with a 500 error and will not recover at the moment.
That is I cannot get back in.
Contact me for further information.

1) if you use the system as designed it will help you. Do not use invalid email address just leave them blank and see what happens.
2) that error has been corrected

I did use the system "as documented" If a placeholder email is required, then something needs to change.
The text in the Admin panel, Membership, Quick Add says this:
Simply enter each person's name followed by their e-mail address (optional), then phone number (optional, each part separated by a space. One entry per line. Make sure phone numbers *do not contain any spaces*, and contain at least 3 digits. Example: William Patonkis, DTM bill@email.com 212-555-1234. ▲ Less ▲
An E-mail address should be entered if the person has one, but is not technically required.
This will allow current members ONLY to select their name from the list of members and authenticate via e-mail.
Once authenticated, they can update their own basic information via their member profile.

It says email is optional, the system will generate an email, and then follow what happens in the admin email

Perhaps, I was unclear, i did leave them blank on the ones I added today.
The Guest email addresses have been there for long while. And were created using the FTH docs at the time.
