Club #1. Smedley Chapter One. In mid-February we noticed that our website smedleychapterone.toastmastersclubs.org/
was no longer available. This was the website that was linked from www.toastmasters.org/Find-a-Club/0000000...ley-chapter-one-club (this is the web page found via Find a Club www.toastmasters.org/find-a-club )
Currently smedleychapterone.toastmastersclubs.org/ automatically goes to www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/?CSW5
We called TI Help Desk and we were told to contact you. Could you please restore our website smedleychapterone.toastmastersclubs.org/ ?

Thank you for your reply. Why was the website gone? We were using it as of last month.

We retain the data in our database for deleted websites for 90 days to allow for restoration--I designed it work that way and it has been tested and does work that way. As the data is no longer there, that implies that the website was deleted over 90 days ago. Because the website is not accessible during the 90 day period, I find it quite implausible that you would have been "using it as of last month".

Also, we only initiate a website deletion because we get asked to by the club. Therefore, you should make inquiries of your club members about who requested the website be deleted.

If you are looking to recreate your website, you may be able to fetch some of the content from the Google web page archives.
